The bag I got was white/cream and flat, doesn't stand up like I've seen in some pics. My bag worked well in the washer and I actually remembered to take them out before putting them in the dryer!The only other breast pads I've used over the years have been the Lanolin disposable, another brand of disposable (never bought again because it felt like there was grit inside them :/ ) and some home made ones I bought from a friend. I'm nursing my 7th baby that is 3 months old right now. I mainly need pads for when we leave the house because she doesn't nurse well away from home and so I usually always leak!!What I found to be really awesome about these is that because they are thicker they were so much easier to put back in place after nursing under a blanket... I leave pads in my bras when I nurse and when I refastened my nursing bra the pad wasn't all flipped and squished down like usually happens with my other pads. I found the ease of getting it back into place *ONE HANDED* was really helpful as I sat her up to burp and got myself put back together. I've honestly have had other pads not be in place after nursing and then I leak all over my shirt :/ I'm hoping that doesn't happen with these lol Nothing like fishing around in your bra one handed in public trying to put that bra & pad back in place LOL!!I did find that I could see the shape through my shirt... I wear a 38C bra and bought size Large pads. I wish nursing bras had built in leak proof pads to help conceal the pad underneath... I'd still wear a changeable pad with that type of bra... anyway, it didn't take much to get them situated in the mirror but I wonder how well that will work after nursing...ANYWAY, I only wore these once, I was at church for 5 hours and nursed her 2-3 times. I didn't get frustrated with them like I have with the disposables (which maybe I should take out and set aside when I nurse but that isn't practical in public! LOL) I did wash them all before their first use and they came out of the washer & dryer feeling great. I didn't even end up leaking much yesterday but they seem like they'd hold a lot of leakage. I'll try to come back and update as I get to use them more :) Love all the fun colors <3I wanted reusable nursing pads because I was going through the disposable ones too quickly,and these are working well for me.- Super soft. Softer than Lansinoh disposable pads.- Sufficiently absorbent. Absorbs any leaks in between and during frequent feedings. BUT if you skip a feeding (i.e. Use formula), they get completely soaked and you will need to change them because they stay wet. And that's uncomfortable. That's why I use these at home, but if I will be out for a long time, I use the lansinoh disposables because they don't feel wet even when the are soaked- Leak proof. Even when the pads are completely soaked, clothes stay dry because the back of the pads (colored sides) are some kind of semi water proof material. Never had an issue with leaks. Even when the pads were completely soaked.- They show through clothes. They are pretty thick and you can see the outline through fitted clothes. Good for use at home. Or under loose clothes.- not contoured. No nursing pads are contoured perfectly. But Lansinoh still has a decent contour fit. These pads are not contoured at all so you need to adjust them in your clothes a bit to get them to sit decently. Not a huge problem.- the wash bag that came with it is really nice. Used more for storage of clean pads or for other things. It easier to just throw used pads in the wash loosely. And you can't put the bag in the dryer anyways because the pads won't dry properly in the dryer if they are so close together in the bag. Nonetheless, it's a nice pouch.- Care instructions that came with the pads was helpful. Most important- rinse before tossing them in the hamper so they don't stink too much.I LOVE these. I bought my first pack on a test basis- would these really work as well as the disposable ones? Would they be smell when absorbing all that milk? The answer - these are wonderful. I used a few of the disposable liners that the hospital sent home and actually felt like they made my nipples get raw and sore as they didn't feel as dry as the bamboo and the disposable ones stuck to the nipple a little if they got any milk in them at all and I'd have to pull the paper liner off uncomfortably. In contrast, these liners are soft, ultra-absorbant, and cause no irritation whatsoever. I ordered a second set simply because I wanted to exclusively use these and sometimes laundry doesn't get done as quickly as planned (having a newborn and all!). I just throw these in loose when I wash a load of anything (I bought two packs total) and then I usually just lay them out dry, but I've thrown them with a regular laundry load in the dryer too and they were fine.The little bag is great for keeping them straight in my drawer. Recently, as I have gone back to work, I needed to be at work for about 8 hours and could only get away from meetings once to pump (normally my son nurses every two hours and I produce quite a sizable supply of milk, so this was a major test scenario). Out of an excess of caution, I put two pads on each side and it was more than enough. Everyday, I just pop one each side and it has been completely reliable and no milky odor at all. I've been back at work and grateful for this great product- it's great when the eco-friendly option is actually better than the wasteful one!Muy buenas. altamente recomendables.
